In March 2019, we supplied 100 yellow cotton tote bags for the confirmation work of Jämsän seurakunta. The design brings together a winding road, three crosses and the words “Tie, totuus, elämä”.
This was a familiar design in our orders for the congregation. The same artwork appears in its orders from 2018, 2019 and 2021, on different bag models and colours.
The broad road begins near the bottom of the bag and curves upwards towards a hill with three crosses. The words sit to its left, following the open space beside the graphic.
The illustration and lettering share the same dark appearance. Against the yellow fabric, the road remains the largest element, with the smaller words close alongside it.
An order from 2018 carried this same print. Yellow bags followed in 2019, while the later 2021 order included blue and orange bags carrying the same design.
The change of bag colour gave the artwork a different background. The road, crosses and wording remained the shared elements across these separate orders.
On the yellow version, the cotton around the print forms a clear border. The long handles sit above the design, leaving the front for the illustration and its message.
For a church choosing its own bag design, this project shows how a few familiar elements can work together and be used again when another order is needed.
