Printed cotton bags for cat-furniture brands – room for the illustration
Printed cotton bags for cat-furniture brands were produced for KISKIS in July 2019. The Finnish brand is operated by Innowoodion Oy. Its order comprised 300 grey bags. Three colours were printed on one side of each tote bag. The design combined the brand name and website with a large cat illustration.

Pink, white and black each have a role in the artwork. Pink appears in the main lettering and details of the cat, while white fills the character and the website text. Black outlines define the cat’s shape and facial features. Grey fabric remains visible around and between these elements.
The cat sits below the lettering with a raised paw, large ears and a curved tail. Space around the character keeps it distinct from the text above. Its prominence gives the bag a direct visual connection to the cat-furniture brand, while the name and website identify the business.
A cotton bag with long handles
The project used 140 g/m² cotton in a 38 × 42 cm tote bag with long handles. This flat format provides room for both a substantial illustration and smaller lettering. The long handles allow shoulder carrying without occupying the printed front panel.
The bag’s plain surface and the artwork’s hierarchy work together: the cat is the main graphic, with the name and website above it. Using grey fabric as the background leaves all three print colours visible within the same composition. The finished treatment connects the character directly with the KISKIS identity.
